Personal data policy
How Gosteam processes personal data of guests and people who write to us: bookings, check-in, payment and your rights.

Why this text exists
We process personal data of guests and people who write to us. Below: who the operator is, what data we take, why, whom we share it with, and what rights you have. Processing follows the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 7 May 2021 No. 99-Z “On Personal Data Protection”.

For personal-data questions write to this address or call. There is no separate form on the site: we take the request the same way as a booking.
What data
Booking and stay. Name, phone or email, dates, number of guests, room requests. At check-in — identity-document details to the extent needed for the lodging contract and for guest records required by law.
Payment. The fact, amount and method of payment. We do not store card numbers ourselves: payment goes through the booking module and the payment provider.
Messages. What you yourself send by phone, email or Instagram.
We do not ask for special-category data (health, biometrics, political views).
Why, and on what basis
Booking, check-in and messages about the stay are a contract. Without a name and a contact the request cannot be fulfilled.
Guest records, till and accounting documents, and replies to enquiries are required by law.
Whom we share with
Only those without whom the stay cannot work, and only to the extent needed:
- the TravelLine booking module;
- a bank or payment provider — if you pay by card through the booking;
- public authorities — where the law requires it, including migration registration.
We do not sell data and we do not hand it over for someone else’s advertising.
How long we keep data
Booking and stay records — for as long as accounting rules and the law require, then we destroy them.
Correspondence — for as long as we need it to answer and close the matter, usually no longer than three years.
Your rights
You may obtain information about the processing, ask us to correct or delete data, and demand that processing stop if there is no other lawful basis.
To use a right, write to contact@gosteam.by or call. Give the name and contact you booked or wrote from, so we can see that the request is genuine. We will reply within the time the law sets.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may complain to the National Centre for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Belarus: 24-3 K. Tsetkin Street, 220004 Minsk, cpd.by. A complaint about personal-data processing is sent by letter to that address or as an electronic document to zvarot@cpd.by.
Children
The site does not collect children’s data on purpose. A family booking is made by an adult.
Changes
If the policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
